The stakes here are obviously dire – just ask any man if he can imagine a worse fate than being unable to engage any further in his favourite pastime. But the makers of the film hope as well If you’ve been pregnant with need for a road-buddy flick about a prick who can’t get it up and his mentally retarded brother, you’re in luck. Conceived by Raymond Yip (Wai Man Yip) – who directed the predecessor to last year’s box-office smash Lost in Thailand – Bump in the Road distinguishes itself from the litter of Thailand imitators by saddling its two protagonists with rather unenviable shortcomings: erectile dysfunction and a low IQ.
